Postprandial Productivity

Pretty pal, Joann, picked pears from her property, put them in a poke and plopped them in our pantry. Preparing pears, spouse peeled and I pared and parted them into pieces, put them in a pot.

Sparing details, we processed them and packed them into jars, part of them pints, and part quarts. Lids !pinged!; we are pleased. Partaking of pears later will be a pleasure.

Picked and packed a peck of pears. Pleasing productivity.

Ha! My mom used to make pickled pears, but they weren't on my list of favs.

Chuck, promising pleased palate in February.

Vee, *chuckle*

Shark, no pickling, just very light syrup. I sort of recall cloves in canned pears; not my favorite.

Ooooh, yum! Sorry, I'm void of "P" words to join in the fun. I'm just thinking of the juice come February when you'll be able to enjoy the taste of summer!

Lin, that "taste of summer" in February is what makes it all worthwhile. Maybe a little corn on the cob before the pears?
