We were here-- a year ago today.
Here we are now. So far as a southward migration is concerned, I have to say we are making zero progress.
BBBH, however, sees an opportunity. Evidently. For she told me last evening that tomorrow we would be on the road. That may take some doing, but then, I'm guessing it is up to me to get it done. Today may be a long day.
Wish us luck.

Good luck and be safe!
I've dear friends from Reelsville who go to Texas every winter and have quite a group of friends there as well.
Where there's a will, there's a way. We've actually had a bit of a chill in the air in South Texas the last few days, if you can call being in the 50's a chill. Safe travels!
Hope the weather holds for you and you will soon be in a warmer place.
Have a safe and happy trip...
Okay. Luck. And clear roads and nice weather and low gas prices, etc. Don't forget your friends, the frozen chosen.
Jacquelineand, thank you. We've found a lot of Hoosiers in South Texas in the winter.
Shelly, thanks. Actually, when it is in the 50s in South Texas in the wintertime, BBBH says it is Cold! I keep pointing out that it is not 13.
Vee, thanks; that is our hope, too.
Grace, thank you. We will hope to be reconnected with the blogosphere soon.
Chuck, oh, you shall not be forgotten. Hope to be able to connect on Secondary Roads!
Well, just pack that swimsuit and flip-flops and get going! ;) Oh, if only it were that easy, eh?
wishing you safe travels and warm, sunshiney weather where you land, pally. I'll be here enjoying the cold and waiting for the snow. I figure Mother Nature owes me for the stinking hot weather we had last summer.
Be safe!
Wow... that could create quite a dichotomy of locations... one declaring you will be on the road, one not even suspecting it's possible. Good luck with that.
Shark, dichotomy of notions-- goes on often with BBBH and me. (Looks like another day delay, at least. This time, she caved before I did.)
I have to admit, I'm surprised to find you still here. Good luck getting it together and getting it on the road.
Good luck and safe travels..I want to go. If everyone keeps heading to south Texas I may just pack up and go visit my daughter in Corpus!!
I will keep you guys in my prayers for fair weather and safe driving conditions!!
Happy Trails To You!!:-)
