Ahhh, terrific! These pics made me think seriously about ditching work and heading to the Island today. They'd catch me, though, and probably haul me back in a school bus.
No envy problems here today my friend. I couldn't walk along that beach anyway. The blue skies are nice--very nice. We had a lovely day yesterday, but today the sky is lead gray and the prognosticators are calling for snow.
Shelly, threat of that kind of correction would keep me in line!
Chuck, let it snow. Stay indoors, wrapped in a cozy blanket; enjoy the day. (We stayed indoors yesterday during a "rain event" (2.63") but it is blue skies again today!
Oh nice - I don't go in the water, or on the water but I do so like being BY the water...I can sit and watch the ocean for hours...(does that make me a sea slug?)
Grace, I sometimes get my feet wet by walking along the shoreline. But in the water? Not anymore. I do like to watch the surf and listen to the breakers.

Beautiful! Yes, I do envy you.

Vee, "wish you were here" vacation postcard.

Oh, how I want to get in the car and drive for 1400 miles. :-)
Happy Anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Vanilla!!
Pearl
Pearl, that 1400 miles: there's the drawback. When we come down via Texarkana, we are half-way to our destination when we enter Texas!
Thanks for the wishes.
Oh, how pretty! I hope you got the sand outta your toes by dinnertime. :)
Lin, yep, clean feet, not a problem.
Looks like a nice place. ('cept I don't like sand much)
