First Color

in the yard, other than green, that is. It rained last night and the temperature rose to 78 (!) today. These popped out.

Yea, rah! Spring!

Grace, I have always favored "croci" but I see that "crocuses" is now listed first in most dictionaries. Anyway, I am just happy they are here.

Dang! I have blooming snowdrops, but no crocus yet. Ugh. I think they are messin' with me.

Isn't it great! I like the crocus as they are harbinger of things to come. Soon the hyacinths and snowdrops will appear. I'm already seeing the snowdrops.
