from Psalm 95

O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.

Bob, so much more than we can ever realize. God is our creator, our sustainer, and the salvation of our souls.

Shark, a reminder to myself; and I'm glad you find it worthwhile, too.

It's always a thrill to read scripture on a blog!! The word of Lord endures forever! :D

My husband wrote a song with Psalm 95. So every time I read the the psalm, his song goes through my head.

Have a blessed holiday!

Rebecca, I would very much like to hear, or at least read the lyrics!

The Psalms are loaded with references to Thanksgiving. Must be a hint that we really ought to thank our Lord for His blessings.
