I love outside murals - makes a city landscape pretty and interesting but - this one seems rather odd, and currently rather off-putting. Those wheel thingies look like lemon slices and the horror masks in the bathtub - It will be interesting to see the finished product. What is this building?
Grace, the building is our local movie house. Looks as though the representation is going to be a giant ninety-foot long old-time movie projector, with the comedy/tragedy representation. Not sure I would have chosen that, but we shall see what we shall see.
I thought it might be the comedy/tragedy masks but it looks like they have horns and sorry, but the 'face' is so very carny/funhouse. The classic presentation would have been, well, more classy.

Very cool! It's nice that they are trying to spruce up the 'hood.
Like the comedy/tragedy masks. Not the same old, same old.
Grace, maybe the masks will look "right" when they finish the job?
Lin, I usually like murals on old buildings. Waiting to see the finished product before I decide on this one.
Vee, appropriate, I guess, for a theater.
