"The wind bloweth where it listeth," (KJV) or "The wind blows wherever it pleases," (NIV) said Jesus.
As I write this, the wind is hootin' and hollerin'. What it portends I know not, but it is late January and in all likelihood it is up to no good.
To date we have been blessed with a mild winter. I approve. The inch or so of snow we have had so far is plenty enough, I can do without more.
But.
We take what we get.
Blessings. May your day be exactly as you would wish it to be.

Weather like this makes our dirt road a mess. O the other side of the coin our heating bill is lower.
"Who has seen the wind..." - it's been banging at our windows all day.
Chuck, my heating costs shift from gas company to the electric company-- heat pump.
Grace, ours abated about three a.m. Didn't quit, just slowed way down. Of course it is colder now.
Mild and cold definitely trumps blizzard.
It has certainly been an odd weather winter. Some weeks it is warm and windy with lots of rain...then others it is just cold. Not much snow, thank goodness. I just miss the sun. My spirit is so low with the lack of sunlight.
Lin, there have indeed been some grey days, but I will take them in preference to snowy days.
Vee, anything but blizzard.
