Bursting Out All Over

Daffies in front.

There are going to be lilacs!

 The cherry tree on Saturday.

The cherry tree on Monday.

Epicormic sprouts from adventitious buds?  Perhaps.

A mere dozen miles south the Northern magnolias already bloom.

As do the forsythia.

Just wow! I want a place in Indiana.

Also, the grass is so very green.

Grace, I have managed to preserve the birdbath for many years by the expediency of inverting the basin and wrapping both pieces in plastic to protect it from winter's ravages. The day will come I cannot lift it anymore, I suppose.

Vee, Indiana would welcome you!

Chuck, another of nature's wonders: that gray, crumbling frost-bitten grass one day has to be mowed the next.

WOWEE! Spring has sprung! Isn't it wonderful?!

That cherry tree is magnificent. I wish the blooming trees would do that all summer. I'm still waiting on my redbud to bloom.

Lin, yippee for Spring! We are always eager for the cherry blossoms, but like all flowering trees the bloom does not last long. Redbuds yet to come!

Things are starting to look like spring here too. My view is very different from yours. Last night I watched the local high school girls team play Lacrosse, outside my window. Grandson has his first Soccer game on Saturday. I could watch from my window, but I think I will take my lawn chair down to the park and enjoy the game from the sidelines.

Ilene, as I said, Spring is bursting out all over. Hope this rain doesn't get to Jersey just in time for the soccer game.
