During our evening walk, I had been thinking "A week into April and the trees are not showing green. What's the deal, anyway?"
We turned the corner to head across the field back toward the house. I could see our row of austrees ahead, and against the grey of the evening sky, green!
Ever so subtle, but the trees are showing green.
Soon the neighbors will drill in the corn, the beans, and life's productive season will begin!
Renewal.

Every year, it's like a new miracle.
Vee, yea, indeed. And to furtherthemore, the daffodils are now open, and the buds on the cherry tree are showing white!
Chuck, don't you just love renewable miracles?
Hooray!
I noticed there were some buds after the strong rains we had yesterday. I was beginning to wonder...
There were tornadoes up north last night and the news people were talking about how the leaves just got blown off the trees. And I thought "What leaves?" There weren't any leaves to blow off! Silly news people.
Lin, seems about mid-March here so far as Spring is concerned. But things picked up with a vengeance last night, didn't they? Paying for those daytime 80s with night time terror.
Renewal. That is a good word V.
KC Bob, it is the season of renewal. Let the Earth rejoice!
I'm hoping!
Sharkebytes, your hopes shall not be dashed, for almost before you know it you will be hoping for cooling breezes.
