Personally, though, I don't find pigs to be terribly photogenic, so mostly we concentrated on cuteness. I mean, how cute is this?
Not to mention this.
Stylin'.
Really styling.
We passed a cage of black-on-white rabbits. BBBH exclaimed, "Oh, aren't the bunnies cute?"
"Looks like supper to me," says I. So much for harmony and togetherness at the fair. There are no horse pictures because although I walked through the stable area, occasionally saying, "Nice horse!" to the horse, I stayed a good four feet from the stall. I don't much do horses. This year's kine crop didn't impress me much, either.

Okay, so I had to look up "kine" - noun, archaic, cows collectively. Always learning something here...
"Eine Kine Nacht Musik" aka Cow Lullaby.
It may seem unfair, but I don't do fairs.
Grace, we do what we can.
Chuck, I do only the county one; comes but once a year.
Very cute little animals.
Vee, posted from your home base, I hope? It was a blessing to see you and E today.
We arrived home around 8 o'clock. Enjoyed seeing you this morning!
We used to drive up to the Wisconsin State Fair. We all loved the cheese curds, bratwurst, fresh creme puffs and all the animals. OH! And the giant slide where you ride a burlap bag down.
Does your fair have the giant slide?
Did I mention the creme puffs? We'd hit that first...then visit again around noon and stop by again before we left. They are to DIE FOR!
Lin, THREE cream puffs in the same day? So glad you survived that. I don't know what rides were there this year. We did not go down the fairway. I once put a leather apron under my heinie and went down a slide into a salt mine. l-o-n-g ride, short hot time!
Seven years of fat kine and seven years of lean kine. We do know our King Jimmie.
Sharkey, indeed we do!
