Right Here at Home

Waving Grass
Catalpa on Blue; Vignette on Front Stoop; Holly
I wrote a beautiful post in thanks and praise for the blessings I have. I lost the whole thing. I've no idea where it went. Enjoy the images; I enjoyed the stroll around the yard. The bonus for me was that Cookie walked with me. He has become such a slug that lying around is about the most activity he gets. This evening, though, he seemed to enjoy the walk.

Who am I to be calling my pooch a "slug"?

I understand. Sometimes I call my cat a lazy boy. Then we both curl up in the recliner and take a nap. :)

Looking forward to when you recover that posting about being thankful. That's something I have trouble with.

Chuck, I've decided that the animals pretty much have the right idea.

John, I am thankful for so many blessings; but that doesn't mean there are no rough places.

Vee, thank you. The yard seems to get less attention as time passes, but it's still attractive.

Shark, thank you. Next, I suppose it'll all be covered with white stuff. Not my thing, for sure.

Oh, I have lots of silly names for the cats, but I'm not aware of the ones they call me. I guess it's best that way.

Lin, tonight, Sunday evening, I am feeling really badly about referring to Cookie as a "slug" because he has come up so inactive and incapable of getting into his favorite spots (sofas) that we could just cry. But he makes no "verbal" complaint, just looks at us with pleading and wistful eyes.
