I have been experiencing an unfortunate feeling the past week or so. Prepping a post for String Too Short to Tie has taken on the aspect of a job. This is not good. I have had a lot of fun with this thing, and I hope to continue in that vein for a good long time to come. Meanwhile, however, I am taking a break. Perhaps you would visit Bob Warr and Picket Fences, the blog written by my other persona, alter-ego, whatever. Truly, I have not yet gotten to the point of referring to myself in the third person, but I do go in some directions here that I do not travel in STSTT. The entries are usually quite brief.
In any event, look for the soon return of String Too Short to Tie.
I will still be visiting you.
Stay cool.

Hi Vanilla,
I did follow you over to your barbwire site, but the set-up there will not let me comment.
So sad. I had such great things to say... but I've forgotten what they were.

John, if you have a google identity, try unchecking the "stay signed in box." Otherwise, you should be able to comment anonymously. Well, you could sign "JC" or "John." I hate to miss you witty comments. :-)
I'm taking a break next week as I'm feeling frazzled and fried with work, which leads to it as home as well. I get it, pally. Take some time to regroup--you know I'm over at Bob Ware Tours--well, that's what I call it. ;)
Bob Ware Tours was a tour bus company in Western Illinois when I went to college. They always took people to tour places like Graceland and Niagra Falls. I guess the name just reminded me of that. hee! hee!
Anywho....enjoy your Break!
I think the summer weather has something to do with it too. I'm happier now that I write whenever and whatever I want, with no schedule or agenda. I've been reading the new site too...
I'll miss your writing. Have a great vacation from your computer and lots of fun with alternative pursuits.

Enjoy the break and know that your friends will be here for you when you return.
Verif word = quart No, really it is!
Lin, Bob Ware, Bob Warr. Okay, that's confusing. Enjoy your "rest."
Grace, yeah the weather has been oppressive. I think I'll follow your lead-- write when I feel like it.
Vee, thanks. There are other things to do-- yard work, if it cools down a bit.
Chuck, thanks. "quart" That's encouraging, since I've been feeling like a half-pint here lately.
AW... ok. take a break, but don't forget to come back. We love ya!
Shark, aww, thank you. I'll try to make it back soon.
I did not know about Bob Warr. I will check it out. I have enjoyed STSTT. Now if you want to do something that will not take up so much time, you could try tweeting! 140 characters or less! I can't really recommend it. I don't do it. If I had to say something in 140 characters or less, I would be at a loss for words!
Ilene, I appreciate your reading my blog(s). I don't think I could express my (rambling) thoughts in 140 characters, and I don't want to have to count the strokes!
