July 20, 1903, the Ford Motor Company delivered its first automobile, the Model A shown here.The Ford Motor Company had been founded in June of that same year. Twelve founders held 1000 shares of stock. The rest is history.

Shark, I am long past my youthful love affair with the auto. It is nothing more than a utilitarian platform on four wheels to transport people from point A to point B. Preferably without untoward incident! Oh, and today, a working air-conditioner is a must. (One of my "fords" currently has a non-functioning a/c. Growl.
