Chuck, in the interest of full disclosure, only the first picture was made in our yard. We do have a few nice lilies, but Richard's yard is jam-packed with enough varieties to fill out my blog posts the rest of this month. He is a true aficionado of the day lily genre.
Those are incredible! I don't think I have ever seen such colorful blooms from a daylily. I like them, but don't like dead-heading them. Too much work.
Lin, twenty years ago Richard had a dream which has now been fulfilled with a vengeance. At 82 years of age and literally dozens of varieties, he can no longer keep up with the deadheading. But he tries!

I love daylilies!
Sharkey, daylilies: what's not to love? Oh, deadheading perhaps, if one has an abundance of them.
