Strolling Around the Yard

 BLT time!

 The hen's brood of chicks.

What the heck? "Banana pepper"?  I think not.

Thanks for the "stroll" in your beautiful yard. There's not that much variety in our condo community. We are only allowed to plant in pots and the association does limited planting around the buildings, though what they do plant is nice.

That 'banana pepper' looks like a little eggplant. Love gardens and pretty flowers...never really had one as an adult because I don't know jack-all about gardening and I kinda had enough of the planting, weeding, mowing thing when I was a kid. Still - brings lots of smiles...

A very pleasant stroll. Sorry, my mind (read "stomach") never made it past BLT Time.

Vee, unassuming as our garden is, it is not unattractive. We enjoy it.

Grace, I thought eggplant, too, though I have never actually seen them on the plant. This plant was one of four in a banana pepper pack. The other three are bearing peppers, but even the leaves are different on this one.

Chuck, I cannot resist rubbing it in: I made BLTs for lunch, fruit from that very plant. Okay, I know you can do likewise if you wish, and you doubtless have a lot more produce than we have.

Very pretty garden.

Our tomatoes have not turned red yet. :( I'm waiting patiently....

Lin, homegrown tomatoes: worth the wait. But then, they will ripen faster than you can use them. (At least you can hope.)

Nice stroll! Your stuff looks wonderful. I'll take a BLT too, please.

Sharkey, I'd be pleased to make one for you-- were you here.
