Lin, it is a sad day when the comics shrink. I hate that, too. "Family Circus" is still published. I find it at http://www.seattlepi.com/comics-and-games/ It is now credited to Jeff and Bill Keane. I assume "Jeff" is "Jeffie" and that Bill will eventually let go of the reins. I mean, Bill is 89 years old.
Marydon, thanks, you, too. I'm sitting here dressed in orange and black, but only BBBH is aware of that!
Chuck, thus, we make the pie from the pumpkin from the field. Different? Yes. My mom made a mean Hubbard squash pie, no pretense that it was pumpkin.

Do they still publish The Family Circus?? I always liked those.
Just yesterday, I noticed how small the comics are in the Sunday paper. It's a sad day when the comics are shrinking. :(
Jack can take some [small level of] comfort from the fact that the top ingredient in a can of pumpkin pie filling is squash. No, really it is.
Love these! Squash, Secondary Roads says ... oy! Such deceit, :( !! Chuckle!
Have a BOO-T-ful Halloween.
TTFN ~
Hugs,
Marydon
