What is a relational parasite? It is anything that diminishes the quality of relationships.

The parasite latches on, sucks the life out.

Three facts about temptation.

1. Every temptation you face has been faced by someone else.
2. You have never been tempted by something you hadn't the power to resist.
3. God provides a way out.

There are three kinds of temptation.

1. Craving of the body --lusts, including sexual.
2. Lust of the eye --greed; temptation to possess what is not ours or what we don't need.
3. Pride of heart.

How to break free from temptation.

1. Pray the Lord will keep you from succumbing.
2. Make a covenant with yourself.
3. Look for a way out.
4. Divert your thoughts.
5. Remove yourself from the situation.
6. Evaluate seriously when you fall.
7. Ask the Lord for forgiveness. Start again.

Deepen your relationship with the Lord. Be very careful how you live your life.
