The Spider

The spider is a wee creature yet she catcheth her weight in bugs.
A cobweb in the corner is better than RaidTM in the air.

Serious scientific studies have observed that orb weavers, e.g., capture approximately their own body weight in insects over a period of five days.

I have spiders, cobwebs, bug, mice, grain moths, dust bunnies, Riley and a woodchuck. Fortunately the last two are still outside the walls. Your arachnid is pretty.

EEEK! I hate spiders. But, I do leave them if they are in an inconspicuous spot catching bugs. But they have to stay there and not climb on the ceiling over my head.

Chuck, exactly!

Sharkey, your requirement that the squirrel and the 'chuck remain outside is quite reasonable.

Lin, a sound accommodation, and I do hope they abide by the rules, regulations

No Raid. Just a folded up newspaper.

Vee, Ihope you mean for the flies and not for the spiders.

Nope, I mean for the spiders. I do not live in the same house with those critters.

Vee, I thought to tell you when you first posted this that I once read that one is never more than three feet from a spider. Then I didn't. Now I did.
