Vee, Sufficient unto the day is the tending of one's own ducks. --Problurbs 2:6
Grace, A laugh a day is joy to the spirit. --Problurbs 9:12 (I had hoped to quote from the Book of Davidicus, but I discovered that some dude in California has already written that one.)
Now that I am looking at it a second time - I really 'get' it. Earlier this morning I'm checking out my keyboard - typo? B is next to v. But even so proverbs is never going to be problurbs, no matter how many typos - I like 'problurbs' - yes, I do!

Indeed. And one whose ducks appear to be in a row but in reality are not? Just wondering.
Problurbs? LOL

And happy is he who goose has not been cooked. {roll eyes}
Grace, it tickles me that you made a return visit.
Chuck, I hope you are not thinking of cooking my goose. I believe the true scriptures say, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine."
You are probably safe unless Chuck wants to roast your ducks. Although I think I recall that Lin has a yard goose.
No, Vanilla, I'm not thinking about cooking your goose--or roasting your ducks. That, I fear, would be a fowl idea.
Sharkbytes, I think my poultry is safe from Chuck. But I would feed him fried chicken if he were to drop by.
Chuck, I know you would engage in no such nefarious activities.
