Progress via PT

Progress:  an hour in physical therapy is a welcome relief from the tedium (how many episodes of "In the Heat of the Night" can one watch? nostalgic in so many ways:  "back then" it was the nonagenarian mother-in-law's favorite show) from the tedium, I say, of the daily routine.

Bummer that you are still there but a big hurrah for the progress you have made.

What your sister, Vee, said. It will be a long weekend, but as the Bible says, "It came to pass." Amen.

vee, I am sure I am better of here this weekend and I hope JoAnn can benefit thereby as well.

Chuck, all things shall pass away.

There is only one show on your TV? Ha! Of course you and I have talked about the lack of good television shows these days. I am sorry you were not released yesterday. I know that three days can seem like an eternity, but compared to the years you have lived, that is a drop in a bucket. Many more quality years are yet to come. This is truly my prayer for you.

Ilene, most of the stuff on our TV that is worth watching was made years and years ago, hundred channels notwithstanding.

Isn't it amazing that 3 days can either fly by or drag endlessly...all depending on where you are?

Friday is down...you have only a couple of days left.

I think part of the problem is the gloomy weather. We are all feeling cramped up and sick of the surroundings. Maybe the sun will come out and a seat next to a sunny window will help.

Meet any friends in there?

Lin, meeting friends: I discovered there is a fellow now resident here who was a tennis opponent many years ago. Also a new resident, about my age, with whom I have something in common: he is a retired teacher. His short-term memory is such that he can't seem to remember what I told him five minutes ago, but he recalls the old days in the classroom and how much he enjoyed his work.

I'm sure you will be happy to return to a more stimulating environment as soon as possible! Meanwhile, work hard on your PT. It's the path to escape.
