Interesting. I see stones in our cemetery where a single relative is buried in the family plot, but I've never seen a shared stone like this. (I don't think). And I've definitely never heard the name Edrie anywhere else.
Sharkey, I thought it interesting that the man bracketed himself with his two wives, at least on the stone. Truth, I have arranged my burial in the same manner, but there are three separate stones.

This is something I had forgotten. When I was a kid I thought it would be a real bummer to celebrate a birthday on a day that was not the actual date.
She was so young, sort of. And it's Sadie Hawkins Day which makes it a bit scary for single guys.
Ain't it funny how time slips away.
Happy Birthday, Aunt Edrie!
Jono, thanks for the mention of Sadie Hawkins. Al Capp was a favorite of mine and I faithfully read the exploits of the denizens of Dogpatch.
Vee, yeah; owning your own special day but once in four years seems a real gyp.
Chuck, I've heard it said, but is it really funny?
Ilene, birthday comes but once a year, or once in four years.
