Surprise!

When I placed these into the earth a while back, I had no idea.  Today I was watering the garden.  I was stunned by the vivid blue of the eyes.

I wish they showed as well in the picture as they do in the garden.

The plant is called osteospermum.

I love summer, even at 83o and 73% relative humidity.  And that is on the way up!

Interesting looking flowers - I just checked it is 87 with only 46% humidity - and feeling quite pleasant - this morning the temp was lower but the humidity was way, way higher - not so pleasant...I will always prefer Spring and most especially Fall.

Grace, they make a pretty little display along garden's edge. I did not know they had blue centers when I planted them.

Vee, don't know how much longer the knees and back will support that, but I do like some flowers in the yard.

Sharkey, correct! Some people call them blue-eyed daisies. I like that.

Chuck, I think they are amazing.
