Wilbur is camera shy. When he sees someone pick up a camera, he will hide behind someone or something. So I consider it a coup that I was able to steal these images of him.
The people? Oh, the people. We had nine guests, so eleven for dinner. And there were two more dogs as well. Fun times.
Yes, Wilbur is a dachshund, silky hair and all.

What a great time it sounds like, even down to Wilbur allowing you to snap a few pics. I'm glad he was able to reunite for a bit with his cage mate, too!
Aw, Wilbur is adorable! It's nice that he came for dinner too. I'll bet your dog was happy to have him for company.
Did they remember each other, I wonder?
Everyone welcome at your table...nice!
Shelly, a great time was had by people and beasts. Time is so short twixt now and the next holiday.
Lin, oh, they knew each other. They lived together for several years. We could have Wilbur, too, but BBBH thinks one dog is quite enough. And I guess she is right.
Grace, it was a happy time, and we were glad for all the participants.
It seems I'm the odd one out here. All of our guests have dogs (and one has a cat). They all left them home. One more thing for which I am thankful. Very thankful.
Vee, you know the saying, "Different strokes." We love you.
I enjoyed having doggy guests for T-day. Needed a puppy fix.
Sharkey, having been without Dog for almost two years, we felt we were ready for another one.
The dog guests were very well-behaved.
