Just in time for Rosh Hashanah...I bet there'll be ribs, huh? Some nice bar-b-que ribs? Yeah? Dang - I love me some nice ribs...Ain't no good bar-b-que in N. VA - which I find weird because we are below the Mason-Dixon Line - there should be bar-b-que, right?

Chuck, I'd like to be there for that one; but it seems not to be in the cards.

Grace, ha,ha. You are hilarious. But dang, nothing much beats good bar-b-que ribs. Don't understand why someone in NoVA doesn't get on that.

YUM.

If I were closer, I certainly would be there!

YUM! Are there gonna be funnel cakes and corn on the cob too? I love fall festivals.

Pearl, not only would you enjoy the food, you'd be in the streets rockin' to some pretty good bands.

Lin, you bet. Plenty funnel cakes, sweet corn, whatever tickles your palate.

Well, shoot. Don't I just wish we could be there. I was born in Vincennes, Ind. and the *LOC is wanting to see the Midwest.

But we will certainly bee too late for the pig festival. Rats!

Marsha, bring the LOC back to your Midwestern roots! If you get north of Indy, look us up!

Nothing like a pig roast. Except maybe on Ox Roast (Scottville Harvest Festival since 1910)

Have fun!

Pastor Mark, we do what we can. Enjoy that pork!

Shelly, festivals aplenty in Indiana in the fall!

Sharkey, got a picture today of a whole hog on the roaster. Saw it as I was eating (pork bbq, of course,) but it had been turned on its side before I got the camera out. Oh, well.

Vee, mostly I have fun by not being in the crowd, but Jo and I went in for a pork sandwich at noon.
