Harbinger of Winter

Yes, it snowed Monday.  Snowfall lasted about an hour, covered things nicely; but by the time I went outside with camera, the paved surfaces were clear.

Okay, I've had my snow.  I am ready for Spring!
The lamp in the window is immediately behind the spot where I sit while I write these witty and profound lines that I post on the blog.
The weeping cherry tree still holds on to a few leaves in spite of the tremendous winds we had Sunday night.

It is calm as I write; the sun is shining and all is right with the world.

Pardon me while I say 'bleagh' to the snow.

Oh and yuck as well.

We've gotten a tiny whiff of winter, but nothing as lovely as snow.

You'd think after 45 winters on this planet I'd be used to this by now, but nope.

Pretty pictures - The *S* word - not something I like to hear but it's pretty to look at especially in someone else's neighborhood...

I love the snow - no doubt a lot more than I did when I had to get out and go places. But I even liked it then.

It's not just the snow but the cold weather that also turns on the arthritic pain centers in my body. As I look out the window I see a few flakes falling out of a lead-gray sky. Like you, I'm ready for spring.

Jacqueline, yeah, me too.

Shelly, the snow is gone now, and it was quite enough.

Jim, one never gets used to certain things.

Grace, enjoying the pictures inside the warmth of your own home is the way to go!

Vee, we differ in our opinions on this subject.

Chuck, truth. I dislike cold more than I do the snow; but can't have the second without the first.

We always said that Indiana was the WORST in winter. Cold and wet, but not enough snow to make it fun. If it's going to be cold, give me snow!

Shark, true; except for those times when there is too much snow. And I am well aware that my definition of "too much snow" would differ from yours!
