You must be running a heat pump to have that "Aux Heat On" lit on the thermostat. So sorry -- these are going to be mighty expensive days for you.
Jim, good eye! Over the course of a year the heat pump saves us beaucoup bucks. Yes, we factor both electric and gas to arrive at that conclusion. We changed over when the original air conditioner went kaplooey. The hp has paid for itself and then some. (It is ambient air only, not a deep-well pump which I would like but could never justify the initial expense and I would never live long enough to recover it. Anyway, the air provides the heat only at temps above freezing, otherwise gas furnace.)
I don't know what all of this means - but I do understand minus 11!
Was it something we said? Did? What?
Grace, yeah, cold. It is cold.Chuck, wha.. Oh, this too shall pass.
Great words from Scripture, "It came to pass . . ."
