Worship Choruses

Scriptural admonition to continue writing and singing new worship songs?  What say you?

1 O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.

Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people

.For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.

                                                                                                                   --from Psalm 96 (KJV)

Very old worship chorus but it needs a few more repetitions to make it modern. How about, "The LORD is great, great, I say great and greatly to be praised. Oh yes."

Yes, I like it. Sing that as the fourth verse seven times then tag it with verse 5!
