Bedtime Chapel at St. Mattress

This was Saturday afternoon just before the total whiteout.  What you can't see in the pictures is the wind, about 70 kph.

Setting this to auto-post, going to bed, and pulling the covers over my head.  Think I may not look out in the morning.

Heavenly Father, keep us safe and warm.  Oh, Lord, hear our prayer.

It even looks cold in those pictures.

Yes but look on the bright side - if it was just wind, it passes quickly. If the *S* was minimal then today should be bright and sunshiney, if colder than a you-know-what.

Vee, single-digits today, but no snow!

Grace, it is as though you are here: calm, bright and sunny. Yesterday's snow lasted only half-hour. But frigid.

Yep, it's about the same here....cold and windy, yet sunny. I'm just thankful that I don't live further north and east, in the Massachusetts, Maine area. My friend in Boston posted pictures today. She has no fence or front steps. She is three years younger than I, and still does her own shoveling.

Ilene, our farther north, Michigan, got it too. They are welcome to it.

Today was beautiful, although cold. I did not get the driveway done soon enough for us to get to church, but cleared it this afternoon and went for a short walk. That wind was something, yesterday, though.

Sharkey, happy for you that you were able to dig out in time for a walk on a beautiful day!

Blustery. That's the only way to describe it. Brrrrr....

Lin, it is; and I keep saying "This, too, shall pass. And I keep trying to believe it!
