Snark

Yep, cruised around the lake in a Snark.  The guys with their cats might laugh, but I wasn't the one out there trying to right a capsized boat in a windstorm.

Just far enough into Spring to recall the joys of Summer.

A Snark?!? I must have one, if only for the name.

I spend half my days cruising in Snark. ;)

This weather keeps teasing us---warm one day, cool for three....I'm beginning to wonder if we'll be able to swim this summer.

Snark? Cat? Sounds right - cats can be very snarky.

I love those little sailboats. We did a vacation at a lake in upstate New York. Got to sail one of those every afternoon. It was so good to feel the power of the wind and use it go in whatever direction you want. If you like speed, you'll go for the cat. I'm content with a more leisurely and Snarky[?] pace.

Jacquelineand, the name is catchy, isn't it? The maker's website: http://www.meyersboat.com/#/snark/

Oh, Lin, I can always depend on you for a laugh. I cruise in snark sometimes, too.

Grace, I actually believe it was cats who perfected snarky.

Shelly, we had lots of fun with ours. That season (of our lives) is past now, though.

Chuck, glad to know that you had the experience. Much delight for us once upon a time.

Sounds like just what someone like me, with a snarky sense of humor, could use.

Not sure about the cats, though.

Marha, look at the serenity of the scene! We are all thinking of "snark" in the sense of sarcasm, yet I wonder if the boat-maker had Lewis Carroll's creature in mind.

Anyway, fun times.
