Laughing Ladies

We have opted for another week in Naples. We have moved to a private park, which is quite nice, but it is also much more costly than the state park. We dance to the tune, we pay the piper.

This choice should give BBBH more time with her sisters, which is the primary reason we are staying here. It is truly funny, and touching as well, to see these three little bitty women1 huddled together laughing and all talking at the same time. They not only are "catching up" after nearly a decade apart, they are also reliving some of the "old days" in Chicago and Little Egypt.

People should stay connected to family if they are blessed to have some still living. There are shared memories, and sometimes old resentments. Wouldn't it be wonderful to laugh over the first and let the second go, once and for all?

1The tallest is 5"3".

It appears you are surrounded by some good looking ladies - Lucky you! You know what they say about good things in small packages...I haven't been in Naples Florida in decades but I remember it as being VERY nice...and so clean...and all the pretty pastel houses...

Isn't Naples beautiful? My aunt and uncle lived there for a little while, and I loved visiting them.

I don't have sisters and I am not close to my brother at all. I don't miss it though, I have lots of friends.

My in-laws used to go to Naples all the time--it is lovely there! Have fun. I hope you aren't too warm.

Grrrrr.

Grace, that I am. I'm loving it! This is our first visit here in a decade. Things are changing rapidly. Expansion, development.

Vee, the girls are having a good time, too. Tomorrow, another "girls day." I'm on my own!

Mikki, this is a beautiful area, and blessed with wonderful winter weather. Never been here in the summer.

Shark, friends are good, too.

Lin, I do have sisters, but no brother. I think 75 - 77 is about right, so not too hot. Ten p.m. I'm sitting next to an open window, outdoor temp 66.
