Chanticleer

lives on the other side of the fence. Promptly at five o'clock this morning he started hollering, "It's a new day!" Okay, so it is; but at eight fifteen, he is still proclaiming that it is a new day. No, Cock, you wore that song out hours ago, and the day is well underway.

BBBH made a comment to the effect that she was surprised someone had not wrung his scrawny neck. It was perhaps a hint to me that I should be the perpetrator of this nefarious deed. Can't do it; he's not my bird.

Perhaps to replace the five to seven sleep set I can compensate with a set in the afternoon, say from two to four! I love naps anyway.
IT'S A NEW DAY!

So, how long do they keep crowing?? I'd have to kill him after about 15 minutes! Ugh. I guess we know why they are not allowed in suburbia.

Staying next to a rooster is nothing to crow about

Lin, he clocks out at 8:30; but then again at 6:00 p.m. he clocks in to sing, "No more daylight!"

Anon, crowing about it? No. But you're going to notice it!

Seriously???! He's gotta sing goodnight too?? What is with THAT?!

Lin, yeah, I couldn't make that up. But it only lasts 15 minutes or so.

Well it's not as bad as garbage trucks at 6 in the morning! Oh, well any excuse for a nice nap!

Grace, you are so right. Nature's sounds trump mechanical noises. (Good afternoon nap!)
