Food Chain

There is a very interesting nature story in today's Seattle Times. This article relates the conflict between the great blue heron and the bald eagle in the Seattle area. Interesting story here.

Wow, that is interesting, and I never heard of such a thing. In fact, I never realized that one species of bird ever attacked another like that. Well, not in this overwhelming manner! Herons are such peaceful quiet birds, we have them here in the area too and I love to see them. They evoke a quietness in a person! I enjoyed reading the article and will even share it with my daughter, who is an animal lover as myself. Hope all is well there, been out of the loop for a while and am just now getting caught up with everyone. Debby

Debby: I am so glad you enjoyed the article. I think there are great blues in every US state with the possible exception of HI.

Good to have you back in the loop.
Blessings,
