Curiosity and Illusion

 As I was attempting to photograph this lichen formation on the live oak tree in our yard, I espied

this koala climbing the neighbor's palm tree.

[Bwaa-ha-ha-ha!  We are in South Texas, not southern Australia.]

Yeah - I clicked on the photo which biggified it - Koala? I don't think so...

Like Grace, I had to get a closer look. Not everything is what is may appear to be.

Shelly, a quick glance in that direction almost fooled me; but I didn't really think there were eucalyptus trees in Texas?

Grace, bigifying is a very useful tool.

Vee, these hairy patches appear on many palm trees. I don't know if that is the tree's technique for healing an injury, or what?
