Today the Old Dame
stumbled, but did not fall

The Old Dame three years ago.

Oh my, that is so sad...

Grace, indeed it is. My understanding is that the owners of the property moved to Kentucky ages ago, have no interest in the property and won't sell it. But that is what is called hearsay.

On a positive note, this is a photographers dream.

Vee, there is that. I sometimes wish I were a photographer, but I have the inclination neither to spend the time nor the money needed to become one.

It is a bit sad to see what was once an active home fall into such a state of disrepair. Makes me think of the song, "This Old House."

Stuff like this makes me really sad. Did this house have a place in your previous years? Quite a change from your previous post. The most beautiful old house we saw on our hike in Ohio last spring was condemned and scheduled to be taken down this summer because the previous tenants had used the basement for a cess pool.

Chuck, I go to the nursing home each week to sing with the residents. Would you believe that is one of the songs we sing? With feeling, too.

Sharkey, no connection to my past other than driving by it on occasion in pursuit of whatever it is I might be seeking.
