growls and grins

Old man vanilla looked out
on the earth a-freezin'
where the snow lay round about.
He's sittin' here a-sneezin'.

Four more inches of heavy wet
white upon the world has set
 (sat? fat, rat, ratz,
ramafrazzle rackafratz).

I'll take your snow!! We have a dusting and it's not enough for sledding, skating, or anything else wintery-fun. :(

Hang in there, Vanilla. Summer is only a few months away. (Okay, like 6, but who's counting?)

Going somewhere warm sounds quite enticing just now. Feel better soon!

ramafrazzle rackafratz? Love it! Gotta remember that and steal it. Feel better!

Lin, oh, do. Please take "my" snow.

Jacquelineand, quite possibly Texas is what would make me feel better!

Grace, you are welcome to it; in fact, I think I stole it from one of my employees, years ago.

This explains your comments on Lin's blog today. Just a bit of stuff here, which is melting away on the driveway.

Chuck, each snowfall or threatening system seems to push our departure date back a bit. I should relax and enjoy; we didn't get away until January 4 last time.

rackafratz! Great new word. Not as nice as snow, however.

Shark, forgive me. I couldn't resist throwing in one little cuss.

You need to get the sled out of the shed and enjoy! Well, that would be after you get over whatever is causing the blahs.

Keep in mind that you were invited to Colorado where we still have not seen more than about an inch of the pretty white stuff. (And we have a warm house and a fireplace.)

Vee, bearing in mind that the sled is almost as old as I, it has seen better days, and its rickety nature might well offer threat to life and limb.
