End of Week Potpourri

Being an overview of the week from Sunday's family Christmas party to Friday's snow and cold.
There were cookies...and cake...and...

there were adult offspring...and...

there were wee ones....and
things went well from Sunday to Thursday when vanilla wound up on a gurney here, ...then...

we came out of the ER at nine in the evening to encounter snow and ice and wind, lots of WIND!
Friday morning found the RV in a sour mood, for she could have been, should have been in Texas.  But n-o-o-o.  Here she sits, snow covered.

Health update: I'm fine.  No, really.

Glad you're ok, but why the heck aren't you in TX already?

Wow- hope you are staying well! That looks like a wonderful family Christmas gathering. And in South Texas, it will be in the mid-70's on Christmas Eve.

Glad you had a nice family Christmas!

"No, really." is this truth?

Jim, I ask myself that same question, over and over.

Shelly, I will not say you are "rubbing it in," but rather, I am happy for you. Christmas Joy!

Vee, yes, that is the truth. And we did have a nice gathering.

ohhh - cream cheese frosting! And a good looking crew - and boo-hiss to the ER (and the snow...)

Grace, it was a great cake! Too right: snow and ER, not welcome.

Oh no!! Are you okay?? What are you doing going to the ER, silly? That is NOT on the holiday agenda!!

It certainly looks like a wonderful event--lots of happy faces. :) And that reindeer cake....YUM!

Be good to yourself and don't go back to that ER, okay?

Lin, I am okeh and functioning well. You might be surprised, I know I was, but the RN who cared for me told me that this is the very season where ER visits spike. Eating outside the usual diet, she speculated, was the primary cause. Who knew?

We did have a fun time; and now no Christmas party to look forward to. Both an upside and a downside. ;-)

What?! ER? Not good. Glad you didn't have to stay long. Stay healthy, friend.
