Gluttony Is Not Just Overeating

Americans spend $12,000,000,000 annually for storage unit rental. And now we are going in droves to purchase more stuff. Stuff for which clearly we've no place and no need.

Who are we?

Interesting! I understand summer storage for college students and storage when the new home being built is not finished on time (experience here)and also RV & boat storage. What else would one store away from home?

What else, Vee? The Fall furniture in the Spring? The $6,000 lawn mower during $4,000 snow thrower season? The tools you used to use, but no more?

I dunno. I built my own barn so I didn't have to haul the junk back and forth. Wonder how much is spent on that sort of thing?
