Chuck, in the interest of full disclosure, only the first picture was made in our yard. We do have a few nice lilies, but Richard's yard is jam-packed with enough varieties to fill out my blog posts the rest of this month. He is a true aficionado of the day lily genre.
Those are incredible! I don't think I have ever seen such colorful blooms from a daylily. I like them, but don't like dead-heading them. Too much work.
Lin, twenty years ago Richard had a dream which has now been fulfilled with a vengeance. At 82 years of age and literally dozens of varieties, he can no longer keep up with the deadheading. But he tries!
Beautiful range of color in your lilies.
ReplyDeleteWow, just wow!

ReplyDeleteI love daylilies!
ReplyDeleteSharkey, daylilies: what's not to love? Oh, deadheading perhaps, if one has an abundance of them.
