I'm not old enough to remember that day, but I do remember WWII (air raids, black-outs, fear). At least we were in it to win. That's more than I can say about recent wars.
Pearl Harbor Day and my mom's birthday--How can I forget? It's a shame that so many of the survivors are getting older....it's important to hear their stories. We've caught a few special shows documenting the attack this week.
Lin, I am pleased to read your testimony; yes, it is important to know our history. I am fortunate to have friends who served in WWII, some of whom still live. But the ranks are thinning. Happy Birthday to 'Phyl'.
