Fine Art

Many years ago I had an oil painting hanging on my classroom wall.  Painted it myself, I did.

It was entitled "Polar Bear in a Snowstorm."

  2. Wow! That's fabulous. It takes a lot of talent and imagination (especially the latter) to render a scene like that with such amazing and realistic detail. What's next?

  4. So did the students gaze at it for a long time before asking the obvious question? :)

  6. Grace, seriously. I really did that.

Chuck, thanks. It may be only the top of the ice-pack.

Shelly, none of the "the artist meant that, or intended this." Pretty straightforward!

Vee, a man of many parts.

Marsha, actually junior high students back then were both pretty quick and pretty sharp, not to say acerbic.

Lin, it was a study in progress, for, oh, ever so long before I set brush to canvas.
