  1. It was a gorgeous moon last night. We sat out and enjoyed it for a while. Great pic-

  2. And who is that peeking over her shoulder? Could it be her sister V?

  3. Shelly, crisp, moonlit evening. It was great.

Chuck, two days in a row.

And, that'w who I thought it was.

  4. Wow it's been a long time but I picked a great day to visit you again.

I love the shots but really love your accidental shot of the full moon.

This Jackie aka Shinade of The Painted Veil. I have been away from blogging for quite some time but started back a couple of weeks ago.

I saved all of my favorites in my Google reader and am slowly but surely making my rounds. I added you to my link list. I hope that's okay.

I have a new blog and trying to get back into my photography also.

Wow a retired teacher who lives part time in South Texas-I never realized that.

We have a daughter who teaches at Texas A&M in Kingsville. It's certainly a small world.

I hope you have a great day!
    Jackie:)

  5. Jackie, I am delighted that you have returned to blogging. I will be visiting you!

We sometimes stop in Kingsville as we travel between The Valley and Rockport.

  6. I've tried to take photos of the moon = never worked out. Glad others had more success than I...I can't see the moon from my windows here - but I do wake up to the sun (YAY!)

  7. Grace, waking up to the sun is a good thing!

  8. Cloudy here, so I'll settle for the one from the night before. I'm still trying to figure out how to get moon pics that aren't blown out

  9. Sharkey, I depend more on luck than on skill or knowledge. Sometimes it works.

  10. Nice shot. We couldn't locate the moon around here this week if we tried - it's pouring rain.

And we haven't started any Christmas decorations yet, either.

    Maybe next week. :)

  11. Marsha, thanks. When did putting up Christmas decor become a chore? Where has the excitement gone? Speaking for myself, you understand. Is it simply a function of old age? I hope that's it, because I have always loved Christmas.
