What have you never done that "everyone else" seems to be doing?
I have never in my life had coffee. Love the smell, but have never had the inclination to try it.
ReplyDeleteI've done a few of those things, but the only one I like is texting. It's very efficient in communicating with my kids. It's quick, to the point, and I don't have to try to decipher a phone conversation with a cabillion kids in the background. It's like email, but quicker. And when you've got teens, it's the only way to survive.
ReplyDeleteI have done some of those. But I've never worn high heels, never done anything to my eyebrows except when the face was lucky enough to get washed entire, ordered a mixed drink (I have had a beer at a bar, so I can't claim that prissy bit of high ground). And I don't have a smart phone (yet)
ReplyDeleteI still think texting is the dumbest thing on the planet. I think smartphones are cool but I don't need one (and where were they when I did? Not invented yet ::sigh::).
ReplyDeletemp3 players are ever so much nicer than portable cd players. I have one, I use it- can't walk anywhere without music. I don't exactly download music but I do convert youtube videos to mp3's and then add them to my playlists - so maybe that's almost the same thing.
trying to think of something in the pop culture that I haven't done and have no intention of ever doing - Wait - karaoke! Never done it, never will.
I LOVE Apple - I have 3 Apple machines (pad, laptop, desktop). They are marvelous.
And stupid, expensive coffee drinks? Pah! But I do love a cappuccino - you know the kind you get in an Italian cafe or good restaurant.
Shelly, now that is a revelation!
ReplyDeleteLin, so you don’t have to talk to the kids? Not bad.
Sharkey, very smart choice on the heels thing. We’ll give you a pass on the beer; you are still a teetotaler.
Grace, you are tied to your music! Sadly, I admit to having “done” karaoke.
...been to a 3D movie.
ReplyDeleteAlthough my home phone uses the cellular network of the carrier, I have never owned a cell phone let alone a smart phone. It's more of a benefit/cost ratio calculation than anything else.
ReplyDeleteVee, you haven't missed much. Of course, the one I saw was a really early release, "Ticonderoga," I think. Don't know the new technology.
ReplyDeleteChuck, enjoy the savings, and you are saving. We "need" ours because of the away-from-house thing in the winter.
I've done more than half of these. What I have not done is blog...or journal, for that matter.
ReplyDeleteI have done a lot of those, but only in the past 4 years! I am a tech writer so I must maintain a connection with the technology developments.
ReplyDeleteYour post inspired me to write my own on this topic. Come see what I listed and tell me if you have done any of those things!
Rebecca, I shall surf on over!
