Although the reservoir is situated in the rather bleak and windy terrain of South Park, read about recreation opportunities which include fishing, ice fishing, boating, camping, horseback riding, bicycling, hiking and picnicking.
Oh my! How lovely is THAT???! I'm glad you are taking photos to show us the beautiful landscape. Whenever I see mountains in the distance, I always wonder why I live in Illinois. Sigh. :(

ReplyDeletePlaces out west seem so strange to me
ReplyDeleteFelicia-- We did walk some. Does that count as recreation? When I was a lad, Dad and I used to go fishing up here, lo, these many years ago!
ReplyDeleteLin-- The mountains are beautiful, and though I grew up here, I now consider myself a Hoosier, and home is in the Midwest.
Shark-- To one from the old Northwest Territories, "out west" truly is a strange world.
What fun!
ReplyDeleteWalking sounds just wonderful!
